So it begins...

Let me first start off by intro-ing myself and that dude I'm *like* marrying 'n stuff.

We are Mike and Britt. We met in college at Arizona State. Been together over 6 years. Been engaged twice. Once 4 years ago - wedding never happened. I blame it on the a-a-a-a-alco-AND I'M STOPPING MYSELF RIGHT THERE. All you need to know is that we're engaged now and ready to rock.

We live, work, and party in the kick-nuts city of Los Angeles. We love this city so much that we've decided there's no other place in the world we'd be willing to get hitched in. Eff you, South of France!

Mike and I are putting this whole hullaballoozy together ourselves. Luckily, we have a completely shared vision for the whole affair: Loft space in downtown with outdoor ceremony, DIY decor, a killer dance party that lasts til the night closes in, Bowie undertones (will explain in future posting) and an overall NON-traditional vibe - emphasis on that last one. Parties weren't meant to have rules! Come ON.

In this blog, I give you my solemn vow that you will hear absolutely NO speak of 1. SOULMATES, 2. FATE, or 3. "MEANT TO BE." Mike and I know we're supposed to be together based on each other's feelings and not by some cosmic-mumbo-jumbo-BS-horse-honky. Realists can believe in love too, man!
