We plan on serving beer and wine ONLY. Sadly, a full liquor bar would break the biz-ank. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to offer up at least ONE mixed drink in addition to the beer and wine varietals. I've considered favorites like Sangria, Margaritas, Cosmos, blah-d-blah... but nothing has quite grabbed me.
But then something magical happened...I put on a little Snoop Doggy Dogg, got in a freaky lil groove, and totally got inspired by the Rap Gods to serve this liquor drink AND THIS LIQUOR DRINK ONLY:
GIN and mutha-uckin' JUICE.
No effing joke, playas. I drank this shiz in college and it was DA BOMB DOT COM. So don't even start to hate. That's what we're serving AND YOU KNOW you're gonna guzzle that shiz when my boy Snoop takes the mic. It's gonna be so 90s-hammer-pants, you're gonna SHIZ your pants. Well guess what, suckas?! We're gonna provide you with new pants. Cuz thasss how fly this wedding's gon' be.
So what kind of juice do YOU like mixed with gin? (Personally, I'm partial to Dole's Strawberry, Orange, Pineapple.)
Seeeeeee! It sounds goooooood.
Wow. That's some feisty 'ish. I once drank so much (the $8 a liter kind) gin and sprite in college, the mere smell of lemon lime soda would send me running to the nearest circular object for a good barf. Overshare? Consider it wedding research. ;)
ReplyDeleteSo, yeah, I vote for something with pineapple juice
Ya boyyeee i'm going to sip on that sizzzzzurp!! Great ideaizzle fo shizzle brittizle!! Hahahah :)))) love you!

I'm a fan of gin and 7up myself. Or you can have gin buckets, you mix gin, lemonade, 7up, ad cut up lemons and limes in a bucket, and you drink it with turkey basters. It's very classy.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually with cupcake on the baaaaad college experience with gin. I only started drinking it again like 2 years ago in martinis. So I have no juice opinions. All I'll say is don't buy the cheapcheap gin. I'm speaking from personal experience.
ReplyDeleteLeft you a shout-out on the blog ;)
