Help Me Pick My Wedding Shoes

My wedding dress is a champagne/ivory color with a silver and gold embellished sari fabric overlay. It also has a dusty pink and ivory tulle underlay. Oh, and did I mention it's short? Yeah, not your typical wedding gown, but that was my goal! I am completely in love with the uniqueness of this dress. I am, however, having a hard time picking out the right shoes. I love shoes. I especially love fun shoes.  I originally wanted to wear red shoes... but I don't think red is gonna fly with this gown... So for the purpose of this post, here's a teaser shot of the dress, just so you can see the colors:
The skirt will be fuller and there will be a sash.
So mama needs your help in the shoe department, kiddos. I want high heels, preferably platform. I want some kind of color... ish. And I want FUN. Here are a few pairs I am thinking of going with:

1.
The very definition of FUN SHOES. I mean, they have balls on them. BALLS. And y'all know how much your girl loves balls.
2.
These match impeccably well... and they are *kinda* fun... not very colorful though.  But I do really love the bows.

3.
Betsey Johnson. Not really a huge fan of "nude heels" but these are pretty pimp.

4.
These supposedly have "cushions," meaning they're comfortable.... hmmm...
5.
Betsey again. This time in "pewter."
6.
Tweed and cork... could be fun.
7.
So, so, so, so, so, so, so FUN. I am in love with these shoes. I'm just not sure how well they would match with the dress...
8.
Again, super fun, but I'm not sure how well these would match the dress.
9. YOUR SUGGESTION GOES HERE... please? Seriously. Help me shoe shop. Send me links. Anything. I WANT HOT SHOES.

  3. I like the Vivienne Westwood Balls shoes the best out of these. And the Betseys with the rosettes.

    You should check out the brands Irregular Choice and Miss L Fire. They have a lot of funky stuff.

  5. I'm all about numbers 1 and 2, the Westwoods are great because they're cute and fun, but if you want something a little more matchy I'd say number 2 is the nicest.

    I'd probably go for number 1 though! xx

  6. I LOVE those first ones. I think they add some color without screaming and they are totally fun. If you want to match more, like joanie rose said, go for 2. You did a kickass job rounding up all these candidates!

  7. Ok, I will do some searching later, but of these? I think I like 4 best. 2 is beautiful, but it seems like you want something wilder. And 1 is totally fun... but for some reason they look excruciatingly painful to me.

  8. holy smokes! i love them all. number 1 is calling out to me. I bought vivienne westwood shoes ( for hella cheap! check ebay!). They are also very comfortable. I vote 1!

  11. I like 3, 4, and 5 best for you and the dress. I think 4 is best for some rock-inspired glam, but those three all match the feel of the dress.

    I don't know though, you don't seem to be expressing love for any of them. And the ones you DO love (7 and 8) aren't right for the dress. Hmm. More searching needed. And if not, then #3 or 4.

  12. 1 7 or 8. Before I saw the choices for some reason I was thinking bright teal/blue kinda like the first ones but brighter and to get more of a reaction of, look she's wearing bright blue shoes.

  16. OK, so you can still do red. You had a dress made with sari silk which immediately made me think of Indian brides who get married in deep reds. So why not go for a pretty crimson or maroon shoe. I found these on zappos and they might work out (cos really, you seem to love shoes, why should you settle for something you're ambivalent about?).

  18. Love the balls ie: the 1st ones. For funky shoes that I can wear and don't kill my feet - I like Carlos Santana shoes. You can usually find em on sale & you can get them at Macys & other retail joints too so you're not constantly returning online shoes that don't fit.

  28. I love that the first pair is one of the Melissa/VW collaboration shoes. I was going to suggest a pair of Melissa shoes, but, um, I think you picked the best possible pair already.

    If you don't go with those, I'd suggest something in a highly saturated peach color.
