My Shoe Choice: Definitely Bowie Approved

Thank you so much for bearing with my endless shoe posts, friends.  Wait. What the hell am I saying?  You guys ate that shoe candy shit up. It was awesome.  And it was super interesting to see what you all would pick for me!  My style guru Rock n Roll Bride suggested these shoes for me, and I of course swooned over their epic cuteness. But then I realized they didn't fit my feet right and that they don't come in half sizes (boo). So then I had to choose a different pair.  And after I tried on nearly 10 pairs of potential shoes... I finally decided to go with these puppies:

I should have known I'd end up going with Mary Janes. Mary Jane platform heels are my absolute favorite style of shoes.  They are sexy, sassy, comfortable, and they've got spunk (Ha. I sound like I'm describing a loose cheerleader).  They match the long gold necklaces I will be rocking.  And they hold my wobbly-ass feet in tight.  So that means I will be aces for (most of) the dancing. I am very pleased with this decision -- it was an important one... as my dress is short, bitches!  And you guys haven't even seen it yet! An actual element about this wedding that I will NOT reveal on this blog prior to the wedding! YAY!

  4. I love them! I wanted to rock the high, high heels for the wedding, but fell in love with a shorter heel shoe (it helps that the other shoes I loved were about 5x my budget). I love the level of funk, without being too zany--they'll go great with the little bit of the dress that you've shown us, but won't detract from it. Awesome!

  6. Loooove!!! Those are going to look so amazing! Looking back I *wish* I had chosen a.) a platform (even a small one) and b.) open toe. TRUST me, open toe (or ever a peep toe) on wedding day is your friend. I have photographic evidence as to why and it ain't pretty.

    Can't wait to see the whole ensemble!
