Love You Til Tuesday: A Weekly Ode to Adoration

The power of beautiful writing gets me every time.  So much so that I feel compelled to share with you all my favorite quotes, song lyrics, poems, book passages, and rhymes pertaining to love.  I hope these weekly musings inspire you the same way in which they inspired me.  And perhaps these words will add lyrical inspiration to your wedding... song-wise, ceremony-wise, etc.

My favorite excerpt from "Song of Myself" by Walt Whitman

I bequeathe myself to the dirt, to grow from the grass I love;
If you want me again, look for me under your boot-soles.

You will hardly know who I am, or what I mean;
But I shall be good health to you nevertheless,
And filter and fibre your blood.

Failing to fetch me at first, keep encouraged;
Missing me one place, search another;
I stop somewhere, waiting for you.

Hold on to these words of love... til next Tuesday...
