Our Engagement Photos by Nicole Polk... featured on Rock n Roll Bride!

I kinda feel totally blam-blam today, dearest readers. And by blam-blam, I mean awesome.  Totally. Balls. Awesome. Our photographer Nicole Polk just sent over our engagement photos (she calls them "Beloved Session" - isn't that lovely?!) and they are flat out amazing.  Upon viewing I think Mike and I said something like, "Damn. When did we get so hot?"  Nicole brought out the best in us that day.  And considering we took these pictures 2 days before our wedding, I'd say that's a damn impressive feat.  We were able to forget the camera was there, and most importantly, she helped us let go of the stress we were about to face.  We laughed. We kissed in the street. We skateboarded. We played in the grass. We held each other tight.  We enjoyed every moment. Who could ask for a better afternoon with their love in their favorite city in the world?  And with a great freakin photographer too!  Damn we're lucky.

And speaking of lucky...  my style guru, my pink haired, tattooed lovahh from across the pond, my favorite badass bride of all, Kat the Rock n Roll bride, has been gracious enough to feature our lovely photos on her award winning site!  I started my love affair with Kat's site way back in the early days of this blog.  Ever since, she  has never failed to inspire me with her eclectic taste and fierce personality.  And we send each other pictures of our Maine Coon cats.  Instant love, I tell you.  I feel very lucky to have met Kat through the Internets and am especially flattered that she would include us on her badass site. It's a dream come true. And a little birdy tells me that we may see more of our photos on Kat's site in the near future...
