My gorgeous sisters:
Off we GO! See the subway money I'm holding in my bouquet hand? I love that. And I love that our wedding party brought the Kanye shades aboard the train. Those were a big hit later in the night.
Oh, and my dress flew up Marilyn Monroe style.
Then we headed down below...
And bought our tickets...
There's the date! July 31, 2010...
Then we made sure we knew where the hell we were going...
Then we waited for the train...
Then we hopped on and rode that bitch straight to the venue...
Then we got off the train, and the fact that were about to go get married started to really sink in. The excitement of it all was truly overwhelming. I was going to see the venue all done up for the very first time. And I was going to get to party with my favorite people in the world... some of them I hadn't seen in years.
Next up: The portraits!

ReplyDeleteSeriously, I love your dress. And, you rocked it. And, I also love that you rode the subway. Lots of bonus points in my book.
ReplyDeleteDid I read something a while back about your "ugly" bouquets? Do I recall that correctly?
ReplyDeleteI love these. Are those kitties or dinosaurs on that one bouquet? Either way, I'm totally diggin' your bouquets. Awesome DIY.
I love that you guys did this. We actually tried to take the subway there, too, but it was a little too far and a little too many connections for us... but we did have to fight over who was DD as a result, since the beer was so good. ;)
ReplyDeleteWe went to a wedding this year where the 'wedding transport' was the subway system, it was awesome: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=419025&id=514185612&l=8f63c89f6e
