Modcloth Ladies, Heritage Lads

I'm definitely looking to save our wedding party some skrilla on the attire. Having been in a couple friend's weddings, I know how expensive custom bridesmaid's dresses and tux rentals can be... And honestly, even though I dug the dresses I wore (seriously, my bride friends Anne and Laura picked some hot dresses), but I have yet to wear either one on another occasion. Not because I don't like the dresses, but because I haven't really had any formal affairs to attend where I needed a floor-length taffeta gown.

So I've been scouring the Inter-webs for looks that won't break the bank AND for pieces our Party People can wear again and again (we're hoping...)

Here are the two stores I found: Modcloth for the ladies, and Heritage 1981 for the lads.

Modcloth is seriously the JAM. Every single one of their dresses on their online shop screams UNIQUE. I don't want the ladies of the wedding party to look the same. Color coordinated, yes - but not the same. That's not asking too much, right? Here's a color palette I'm loving. I think these colors would look great against my Ivory wedding dress.

Now on to the lads of the wedding party. The men don't need to dress the same either. I'm all about buying separates and mixing and matching. Come to think of it, the men most likely will already have some of these pieces in their closets already. But just in case, Heritage 1981 has some great, inexpensive pieces perfect for a non-tuxedo wedding look.
